Join AARP Los Angeles volunteers to make a difference and raise awareness on issues that matter to older adults and their families. You will make connections with other passionate volunteers and with people in your community. AARP Los Angeles is seeking to fill volunteer roles, including:

Community Education Volunteer:  With the support of staff and other volunteers, the Los Angeles Community Education Volunteer is responsible for conducting educational presentations and implementing AARP-sponsored events in-person and virtually in their local communities. Education volunteers may also maintain and oversee record keeping for trainings or workshops offered.

Community Event Volunteer:  The Community Events Volunteer is a member of the Community Action Team and provides support for local in-person and/or virtual activities in their community. The Events Volunteer participates in event community planning sessions in-person and/or virtually, and multiple conference calls a year.
