Join Our Driver Safety Team in Kentucky

Posted on 08/29/19 by Scott Wegenast

Driver Safety is celebrating 40 years of volunteers helping people stay safe behind the wheel.

Leon Morrow is our Kentucky Driver Safety State Coordinator and he is driven! His goal is to help more Kentuckians feel confident and safer on the road. As the AARP Driver Safety State Coordinator for Kentucky, Leon is now recruiting more Driver Safety Instructors.

Dale Warren is a retired educator with KY Retired Teachers Association and one of Leon’s newest recruits. He took the 4-hour Classroom course and filled out a short online volunteer application. Now, Dale is on the road to becoming a Driver Safety Instructor.

You can help Dale and Leon recruit more Kentucky instructors by referring friends and family to join the nation’s longest running driver refresher course. Click over to Facebook.com/AARPKentucky and Share (and Like) Leon’s latest video with your friends. Learn more about volunteering with Driver Safety www.aarp.org/auto/driver-safety/volunteer
