AARP South Dakota is helping residents stay active this summer by organizing a series of local hikes and sponsoring a statewide bicycle tour.

In conjunction with the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department, AARP is planning three hikes through state parks. Learn about the great outdoors and state history while on guided tours with park rangers.

Bike riders can participate in the annual Ride Across South Dakota, a seven-day journey through some of the state’s most scenic spots.

AARP members can save on registration costs for the bike tour, held June 2-8, by using the promo code ActiveAging19 at rasdak.com.

Find times and dates for the events, as well as register for a hike, at aarp.org/sd.
