Join in Volunteer Efforts on Outreach, Voting

Posted on 05/31/23 by The AARP Bulletin

AARP South Carolina needs volunteers to help conduct outreach and boost voter education efforts.

In the past year, AARP has held listening sessions to learn about issues important to those 50 and older. Among them: protecting Social Security; improving local housing and transportation; and taking steps to create more livable communities.

Volunteers will help gather information at upcoming listening sessions and make sure voters are up to date on the latest voting laws. Those interested in volunteering should send an email to the state office at scaarp@aarp.org to be connected with a volunteer team leader.
