AARPNY is collaborating with the New York City Department of Finance (DOF) to raise awareness of significant property tax breaks known as exemptions available for qualifying seniors, veterans, clergy members, and people with disabilities who own one-, two-, or three-family homes, condominiums, or cooperative apartments.
Many exemptions may be able to help you keep your property out of the City’s lien sale, but you must apply! The deadline to apply for homeowner exemptions is March 16, 2020.
Join us at our first event in February 2020 to learn how these benefits can reduce your property taxes by up to 50%.
February 7, 2020: AARP New York, 750 3rd Avenue, 31st Floor | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
