Join AARP Idaho for Virtual 'Action Week'

Posted on 12/31/21 by The AARP Bulletin

Members of AARP Idaho can participate in its annual lobby week, advocating for older residents and learning the legislative process. This year’s event is virtual, with activities from Monday, Jan. 31, through Friday, Feb. 4.

Members can support AARP Idaho’s priorities by speaking virtually with lawmakers. They also can tune in to a telephone town hall to hear from legislative leaders. Also at the town hall, AARP officials will discuss advocating for the needs of older residents.

During the session, AARP Idaho will push for expanded, affordable broadband access, improved telehealth access and a retirement savings option, using payroll deductions, for small-business employees.

For details and to register, visit action.aarp.org/IDActionWeek or call 866-295-7284.
