Job Search In The Digital Age Class Available
CHEYENNE - If you’ve ever wanted to use Artificial Intelligence in your job search, an upcoming presentation by AARP Wyoming and the Older Adult Technology Service (OATS) may be for you.
Job Search in the Digital Age will be held on Feb. 18 from 10-11:15 a.m. at the Cottonwood Room of the Laramie County Public Library, 2200 Pioneer Avenue, Cheyenne. The course is free, and there is no requirement to be an AARP member to take part.
James Van Dyke, who has a background in computing and networking small systems to supercomputers, will be presenting at this event. He will demonstrate how to use: Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, AARP Jobs board, ChatGPT, Gemini, Gig Economy and others. The presentation will be designed for those aged 50 and over, but is applicable to anyone.
This is the third in a technology series offered by AARP Wyoming and OATS. This engaging multi-session series introduces practical digital skills tailored for today’s adults. Participants will explore trusted online resources, learn to identify and contact elected officials, spot online scams, use gardening and preparedness apps, and navigate reputable health information.
