Attendees at the Johnson County Home and Remodeling show in Overland Park stopped by the AARP in Kansas City’s booth and learned ways to adapt and renovate their homes to live in for a lifetime.
AARP in Kansas City was among more than 300 exhibitors and experts ready share information about home remodeling and home improvement at the show, November 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Overland Park Convention Center at 6000 College Blvd. in Overland Park, KS.
Visitors to AARP in Kansas City’s booth received a free HomeFit Guide, which includes instructions for do-it-yourself projects and suggestions for professional improvements designed to help homeowners age in place.
“We love connecting with the community and sharing some of the great AARP resources available to help people live their best lives,” said Diane Hall, AARP in Kansas City’s community outreach director.
AARP members who showed their card at the booth received a special gift. Anyone who stopped by received resources to get people started on adapting their home to fit their needs at any stage of life.
