Here in Maine, 40% of our private-sector workforce does not have access to a retirement savings plan at work. MERIT was created to help bridge Maine’s retirement savings gap. Launched earlier this year, MERIT is working to ensure that all Mainers have access to retirement at work by providing small businesses with a free program to provide retirement benefits to their employees.
