Memory loss that disrupts daily life may be a symptom of Alzheimer's or other dementia. Alzheimer's is a brain disease that causes a slow decline in memory, thinking and reasoning skills. There are 10 warning signs and symptoms. If you notice any of them, don't ignore them.

If you or someone you know is experiencing changes in memory, it's time to learn the facts. Knowing the warning signs can help determine if you should speak to a doctor. Early detection matters! About our presenter: Melissa Grenier, LCSW, has worked in the areas of elder guardianship, home care, geriatric psychiatric care, and long-term care for over eighteen years.  She has worked for the Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter, for over ten years, and is currently the Regional Manager for the State of New Hampshire.  Her role includes overseeing the operations of the Bedford, NH, regional office, and providing the Alzheimer's Association's wide range of programs, services and trainings to those diagnosed with memory impairment, their loved ones and caregivers, the public, and law enforcement and first responders, across NH.
