Hunger Action Month: Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank to Hold Open House Sept. 24

In recognition of September as Hunger Action Month, Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank invites the public to an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.

The event is being held to recognize the agency’s 40 years of community support as well as Hunger Action Month. The event will include:

  • Facility tours
  • Interactive exhibits
  • Simulations
  • Recipe taste-testing
  • Donation barrel decorating
  • Face painting
  • Community resource stations

The food bank, which is a member of Feeding America, serves Locust Grove, Stafford, Caroline, Spotsylvania, King George, and the city of Fredericksburg. It is located at 3631 Lee Hill Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
