As we live history in the making, what an opportunity to bring the mission of our organization to the needs of our present and future communities. I imagine many will look to institutions like History Colorado* to make sense of what happened during this time and, hopefully, what was learned as a result of the pandemic.

History Colorado's Collections and Curatorial departments along with Community Engagement department have launched a comprehensive campaign to encourage statewide participation in COVID-19 collection. We encourage you to please participate in this comprehensive campaign as an individual or as part of a community.

You will find the details to the campaign here:
https://www.historycolorado.org/covid-19

We know that the best designed instruments are only as good as they are implemented and used widely. So, to that end, we are encouraging you all to please share your personal experiences and to share this campaign out with your networks.

If you only want to share one tool from this campaign, I highly suggest sharing the below survey far and wide.

Please be creative and think broadly about sharing our COVID-19 campaign widely with school groups, faith communities, CLGs, preservation networks, ect.

We know that this is an opportunity to think about inclusivity and expanding our collection in the hope of telling a robust story about the Colorado COVID-19 experience. The more voices included in this campaign, the better we can tell a fuller story of this shared moment and help create a vision of a shared future!
