AARP Missouri is seeking volunteers for AARP Foundation’s popular Tax-Aide program.
Tax-Aide offers free tax-filing help to people who can’t afford professional preparation services. Although the program is aimed at assisting low-income individuals, anyone is welcome.
In 2019, volunteers helped more than 61,000 Missourians file returns, with refunds totaling over $24.7 million.
No experience is necessary. AARP will hold training sessions in December and January.
Learn more about the program at aarpfoundation.org/taxaide. And get details about volunteer training at aarp.org/mo or by calling 888-687-2277.
