African American bank manager explains mortgage terms

RetireReady NJ is a new retirement savings program, created by the New Jersey Secure Choice Savings Program Act, a law AARP fought for to ensure you have a brighter and more secure financial future. Workers at all levels of earnings, education, and backgrounds can benefit from the ability to use RetireReady NJ to save for retirement.

RetireReady NJ is an easy, flexible and secure way to help workers build their own economic security. You can automatically save part of each paycheck, and the amount is up to you. RetireReady NJ is totally voluntary, so you can opt out any time. If you do opt out, you can always re-enroll at a time that's better for you.

Across the country, AARP is advocating for Secure Choice programs that provide an easy pathway for workers to grow retirement savings so they can deal with the rising cost of health care/basic needs, and take control of their futures. AARP is also fighting to protect and strengthen the Social Security benefits you’ve earned. But we know most retirees will need additional resources. Providing workers with a convenient way to save is an important step toward increasing retirement security.

It's never too early or too late to start thinking about saving for retirement. Click here for more information about RetireReady NJ.
