We recently learned NV Energy only refunded 20 percent of the bills it overcharged hard-working Nevadans. That means more than 60,000 of us were fleeced.
In fact, over two decades, NV Energy has overcharged $17 million.
A bill that just passed the Legislature would clarify that utilities make full refunds when they overcharge their customers.
This is simply a matter of fairness
The bill could also lower utility bills by potentially requiring cost sharing of fuel and purchased power costs and other money saving provisions.
Tell Gov. Joe Lombardo to sign AB452!
It's the right thing to do to keep Nevada utility rates affordable and policies fair.
