Go “Home for the Holidays” at the Portsmouth Music Hall
Sit back, relax and enjoy an afternoon of your favorite holiday songs with Michael Feinstein, known as the Ambassador of American Songbook.
This festive, holiday-themed matinee performance—Home for the Holidays--on Saturday, December 4 at 2pm will feature favorites that are sure to put you in the Yuletide spirit - White Christmas and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, classics by Gershwin and Cole Porter, and other seasonal surprises.
This performance is part of the Music Hall’s Intimately Yours concert series in the Historic Theater, which seats 900. AARP members will receive a 10% ticket discount when you use the code FESTIVE when you purchase tickets online, by phone or at the box office. Tickets go on sale, Saturday, October 30th.
Mr. Feinstein once served as an assistant to Ira Gershwin, and has built an incredible career, including everything from recordings that have earned him five Grammy Award nominations to Emmy nominated PBS-TV specials, his acclaimed NPR series, a seat on the Library of Congress’ National Recording Preservation Board, and concerts spanning the globe. For his radio program “Song Travels,” Michael interviews and performs alongside music luminaries such as Bette Midler, Neil Sedaka, Liza Minnelli, Rickie Lee Jones, David Hyde Pierce and more.
