Get Your Medicare Questions Answered

Posted on 03/31/21 by The AARP Bulletin

This spring, AARP is hosting a virtual class on the basics of Medicare.

On Wednesday, April 14, the Metro Area Agency on Aging will discuss what is covered by Medicare Advantage and parts A, B and D of Medicare.

Information also includes Medicare supplemental coverage, the enrollment process and the personal costs in the program, including the “doughnut hole,” and eligibility for extra help with prescription drug costs, among other issues and resources.

Additionally, the talk, which will be held on the Zoom online platform, will cover how to get help comparing various plan options at Medicare.gov. Go to aarp.org/mn to register.
