Get fit with AARP Hawai`i virtual Zumba

Posted on 05/08/21 by Shirley Fujimoto

Move to the beat for fun and fitness with AARP Hawai`i’s “You Can Do This!” Zumba Gold online exercise classes on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. starting May 11 through June 15.

Roberta “Robin” Bush, a certified Zumba instructor with the city Department and Parks and Recreation, will set the tempo with Latin and popular music. She says her passion is motivating older people to keep moving with joy.

To register to get a Zoom link for the Zumba classes, go to aarp.org/nearyou or the AARP Facebook page and click on Upcoming Events. The classes are free and you do not have to be an AARP member to sign up. But you must pre-register to participate.

Classes are modified for active older adults, but participants should consult their physician before starting any new exercise program.
