Get answers to COVID-19 health questions

The novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, is spreading around the world, sparking anxiety and questions about the respiratory disease. AARP Texas wants to help you get answers to your most urgent questions.

At 10 a.m. Central Time Friday, April 3, AARP Texas will host a live Telephone Townhall with top Texas health officials who will address questions about how Texas is responding to the coronavirus outbreak.

Join this call to learn more about protecting yourself, and what the spread of COVID-19 means for older adults, family caregivers and our health systems. The free event will be moderated by AARP Texas Director Tina Tran.

Our guests for the call will be Dr. John Hellerstedt, commissioner of the Texas Department of State Health Services, and David Kostroun, a deputy executive commissioner with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
