While some are more well-known than others, Cincinnati has many traditions and beloved places and spaces, and is home to several historical markers.  Occurring every Wednesday at 9 a.m., AARP Cincinnati is teaming up with Local 12 and local historian Dan Hurley to uncover some of the most interesting and thought-provoking gems of the area.

Join us as each week as Hurley travels old familiar roads and reveals some of Cincinnati’s greatest historic gems in new ways from the first observatory in the country, the Cincinnati Observatory, to the AARP sponsored Fitness Park at Jacob Hoffner Park.  This event is a fantastic way to stay connected with your city and learn more about the history that Cincinnati has to offer.

What is your favorite gem of Cincinnati?  Tell us about a local or hidden gem of the city and perhaps a little known fact about it on our Facebook page!  Feel free to click on the links below and explore past segments of Gems of Cincinnati.
