From Fitness to Finance, Enjoy Virtual Classes with AARP New Hampshire

Posted on 04/30/21 by Natalie Missakian

Summer is almost here—a time when folks are usually busy planning activities, outings and visits with friends.

But with the pandemic still limiting face-to-face interactions, AARP New Hampshire wants to help people stay active and socially engaged from the comfort and safety of their homes.

AARP and community groups are offering up to a dozen virtual programs each month throughout the summer to help you connect with others, have fun and learn something new.

Try a yoga pose, practice a healthy recipe, or learn more about how to spot scams. Enjoy a musical performance or experience a virtual hike. Hear from experts on caregiving, finances, retirement planning and more.

You can also discover virtual offerings in other states or sign up for AARP’s national programs, such as One Day University, Smart DriverTEK and Movies for Grownups.

Topics are geared to the interests of people 50 and older, but all are welcome.

Classes will be presented via Zoom, with some recorded and posted for later viewing on social media or the AARP New Hampshire website.

Registration is required. To learn more, visit aarp.org/nh, go to Events at facebook.com/aarpnh or email nhaarp@aarp.org.
