The holiday hustle and bustle is a perfect cover for many fraudsters, swindling people with bogus charities, knock-off gift cards and online shopping offers that are simply too good to be true. In fact, a recent AARP survey showed the 75-percent of U.S. adults have been targeted or experienced at least one form of fraud that can be tied to the holidays.

To help you learn how to spot, avoid and stop a scammer this holiday season, AARP is offering a free webinar on December 9 at 7:00pm PT. The event is free, but pre-registration is required. AARP membership is not required.
