Free shredding events in Houston

Every year, scammers steal billions from Americans like you, but you don’t have to become a victim—fight identity theft by shredding sensitive documents you no longer need. AARP Houston wants you a chance to keep your money where it belongs, in your pocket. That’s why we are holding a series of free paper shredding events throughout the city.

These in-person events include a shredding truck that will safely dispose of private documents. The best part is that the public is invited. You don’t even have to be an AARP member to participate.

We will be accepting only paper items, and you are limited to 3 banker boxes per vehicle. The event will close when the trucks are full. So, register today and arrive early.
