Join AARP Oklahoma and the AARP Fraud Watch Network for a fraud prevention town hall on February 10 at 10 a.m. CST. Sean Voskuhl, AARP Oklahoma state director, and Amy Nofziger, AARP Fraud Watch Network director of victim support, will discuss the latest frauds and scams. And just in time for Valentine's Day, we will also be joined by special guest April Helm from Tulsa. Helm is an advocate for individuals who have been targeted in romance scams, a topic that hit home for Hill after her mother was scammed out of $200,000.
You'll learn essential warning signs to look out for to protect yourself and your loved ones. We will also answer your questions during this interactive event.
REGISTER HERE and we will call you when the telephone town hall starts. You can also join us online and ask questions through comments on the AARP Oklahoma Facebook.com page. If you are joining us on Facebook.com, be sure to mark you are "interested" or "going" to get a reminder when this event goes live.
