Franklin County AARP Chapter 508 Spotlight: Mrs. Nora Wade

October 29 not only highlighted the 50th Anniversary of Franklin County, AARP Chapter 508. The spotlight also shone brilliantly on Mrs. Nora Wade! Members, friends and family celebrated her 93rd birthday with songs, praises and blessings!
Mrs. Wade moved to Franklin County in 1973. When asked how long she had been an AARP member her response was “as long as I can remember.”
Mrs. Wade stated that she enjoyed socializing with members, meeting new people and being treated like a queen! She proudly wore her AARP shirt adorned with a large ‘Are You an AARP Chapter Member?'
