Fast-Break Your Way to These Spurs Games
Grab your chance to cheer on the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs at home games this season with discount tickets and a free-ticket giveaway.
AARP in San Antonio is partnering with the team to provide discount tickets to AARP members at three games: Sunday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m., against the Miami Heat; Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 7:30 p.m., against the Utah Jazz; and Saturday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m., against the Charlotte Hornets.
Tickets for those games, normally priced at $30 to $133, will range from $17 to $56. In recent seasons, discount tickets for these games have sold quickly.
For all other home games, members can enter their name in a contest with the Spurs’ official cheering section, the Baseline Bums, to win two tickets in the section and a parking pass.
“Members really enjoy their local discount, so they can cheer for our Spurs,” said Lisa Rodriguez, who heads up AARP’s work locally.
AARP in San Antonio will have a table on the concourse of the AT&T Center at the three discount games, to provide members with information about local activities and volunteer opportunities, Rodriguez said.
