Climate Chats: Plastics & Your Health: Wednesday, May 4 at 4 pm
Join AARP California and a panel of experts virtually for a critical look at the impact of plastics on our health and well-being, particularly for older adults. You’ll hear from Dr. Scott Coffin, a microplastics research scientist, and Linda Escalante, an environmental organizer working on policy measures to reduce plastic consumption. During this discussion, learn about the impact of plastics on your health, what is being done to address the problem, and actions you can take to protect yourself. Learn more and register HERE.

How Livable is Your Community? - Thursday, May 5 at 1 pm
Hear from AARP Public Policy Institute’s Dr. Rodney Harrell as we explore the Livability Index: Great Neighborhoods for All Ages, an interactive online tool that evaluates the livability of neighborhoods across the United States. Click HERE to register.

Mitigating Caregiving Challenges - Thursday, May 5 at 3 pm

Film Screening & Discussion – Find Me by Tom Huang - Wednesday, May 25th at 4 pm
Enjoy FREE access to the film Find Me and join us for an informative virtual discussion with the film's director and actor, Tom Huang, as we celebrate Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May. Registered attendees will receive access to view the film Find Me from May 24th – May 27thFind Me highlights the story of a man searching for his friend who leaves clues for him in National Parks across the United States. The film features stunning footage of locations, including Zion National Park, Death Valley and Yosemite.
