Don't Be a Victim: Learn About Popular Scams in Iowa

Posted on 10/31/20 by The AARP Bulletin

Even during the coronavirus pandemic, AARP Iowa is encouraging local groups to schedule virtual Fraud Watch Network presentations.

Trained Fraud Watch volunteers can help protect older Iowans by sharing the latest information about financial scams and how to avoid them.

Church groups, book clubs and many other community organizations have benefited from in-person presentations over the past two years. Now, AARP Iowa is offering this resource online.

To schedule a talk for a local group via an online virtual meeting or to learn more about volunteering, call 515-697-1010 or email IA@aarp.org.
