Join AARP NY and the New York Adventure Club this fall for three 90-minute webinars to discover the hidden gems around New York and beyond.

AARP members and guests will virtually gain access to the city's best-kept secrets.  Discover one of the most unique experiences in town, with a focus on history and storytelling. You will be able to experience and engage with a community you may not have known existed.

Each presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with a NYC Tour Guide. Advanced registration is required, and registrants will be sent details before the date of the program. You can register for one or all of the webinars!

Participants will explore the life and underrecognized legacy of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors, engineers, and physicists of the 21st century. Led by NYC Tour Guide Deborah Zelcer, our look at this eccentric and colorful resident will include a discussion around some of Tesla's never-realized patents and a look at NYC-area locations associated with Tesla.

'The Lost & Forgotten Gilded Age Mansions of Fifth Avenue'
Participants will be taken on a digital walk up 19th-century Fifth Avenue to discover the remarkable homes that once lined the avenue from Washington Square to 53rd Street. Led by historian Tom Miller, our virtual lecture and showcase of these mostly-forgotten treasures and their captivating stories will include a historical overview of Fifth Avenue and incredible stories surrounding Fifth Avenue's most famous residents.
