'Couch Concert' with CeCe Winans Honors Caregivers

Posted on 06/30/21 by The AARP Bulletin

To honor the state’s 990,000 family caregivers, AARP Tennessee and the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville are teaming up to present a free “couch concert” with gospel singer CeCe Winans on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m. CT.

The performance is free, but registration is required. Register Now >>

The streaming event will also feature a “caregiving chat” with Winans, the winner of multiple Grammy awards, who is a caregiver herself.

Since 2012, Winans and her husband, Alvin, have been pastors of Nashville Life Church.

Caregivers sacrifice a lot, providing unpaid service to aging or ailing loved ones. The pandemic has been challenging for those protecting family members during the public health crisis.
