AARP Arkansas is bringing people closer through the web site AARP Community Connections, which enables members to have virtual dialogues with others nearby and offers the opportunity for older people and their families to seek or give help.

The association is seeking volunteers to create online Community Connections sites in their areas. More than two-thirds of people 65 and older have internet access and over half have broadband at home, according to a Pew study.

Check out the site at aarpcommunityconnections.org, and visit aarp.org/ar for more information about the program.
