Colorado Inside Out live from CU Boulder
PBS 12’s Colorado Inside Out is On The Road for an election special, and the community is invited to be part of the live audience for its recording Sunday, Oct. 13 at University of Colorado - Boulder.
The event will include a conversation with election administration experts, featuring insights and facts about the voting process, as well as remarks from AARP Colorado State Director Sara Schueneman.
“Anyone with an interest in how our democratic process works will find the discussion compelling,” Schueneman said. “It is critical for Coloradans of all ages to understand how exercising our most important right as citizens works.”
The event is free to attend, but registration is required.
Sponsorship of Colorado Inside Out On The Road is just one piece of AARP Colorado’s concerted effort to reach community members across the state with reliable, nonpartisan voting information.
“Voters 50+ are the majority of voters in every election,” Schueneman said. “Intergenerational events like this one are special opportunities for people of all ages to come together and celebrate our democracy.”
