This summer, AARP Pennsylvania is hitting the road to celebrate 90 years of Social Security with a series of fun, informative, and delicious events across the Greater Pittsburgh region. Whether you're looking for an ice cream social, a lively cocktail party, or an evening of jazz under the stars, there’s something for everyone!

Join AARP Pennsylvania at one of our three “Get the Scoop on Social Security” events to enjoy a complimentary scoop of your favorite ice cream and learn the latest about how AARP is working to strengthen and protect the benefits you’ve earned. You’ll have the chance to connect with AARP staff and volunteers, grab some fun giveaways, and get your questions answered..

For a more grown-up celebration, don’t miss our Sips and Social Security Party in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. Join AARP Pittsburgh staff and volunteers for a complimentary cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, and meaningful conversation about how Social Security impacts you and your loved ones.

Relax on the lawn at Highland Park and enjoy free live music every Sunday in August as part of the Reservoir of Jazz concert series—brought to you by AARP Pennsylvania in collaboration with the City of Pittsburgh. AARP volunteers will be on-site each week with giveaways and information in honor of Social Security’s 90th anniversary.
