How much do you know about black military history? Don’t miss this year’s online discussion which will explore the significance of Juneteenth and Black Americans’ military service.

We’ll be joined by Dr. Thanayi Jackson, a history professor at California Polytechnic State University, and local veterans, Michael Dolphin and Sterling Barbour, sharing their personal experiences.

Topics will include the historical impact of Black soldiers, navigating access to veterans’ benefits and resources, and how civilians can play an active role in advocating for veterans.
