Celebrate fifty years of films with The Cinema Arts Centre

Posted on 06/17/24

The 1970s were a golden era of filmmaking so it’s fitting that AARP presents a film series celebrating their golden anniversary. The free event also marks a community theater celebrating its 50th!

The Cinema Arts Centre was founded with a borrowed film projector and a sheet hung on the wall of a dance studio in 1973. It’s grown to be an internationally renowned art house theatre. Advanced registration is required for these films, but you don’t have to be an AARP member.

Join us for a free movie and learn about what AARP is doing in your community — especially about Social Security — at a staffed AARP table before each movie.
