Celebrate Black History Month with AARP Atlanta's Virtual Concert on Feb. 25!

As we honor the rich tapestry of Black History woven throughout America, AARP Atlanta invites you to join us for an enchanting evening of music and reflection.

On February 25, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM ET, immerse yourself in the soul-stirring melodies of “Respect Yourself: The Music of a Movement,” curated and performed by the incredibly talented singer/songwriter, Kipper Jones.

In this captivating virtual concert, Kipper Jones pays homage to the profound legacy of the Civil Rights Movement through the transformative power of music. His performance artfully weaves together the melodies and rhythms that echoed through the streets during a pivotal time in history. From anthems of resilience to melodies of hope, Kipper's soulful renditions capture the essence of a movement that reshaped our nation.

The virtual rendition of “Respect Yourself” promises to transport you back in time while simultaneously resonating with the challenges and triumphs of today.
