Every January and February, we take special time to remember and celebrate amazing people and powerful stories. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, AARP encourages everyone to help their neighbors and make their communities better places to live and thrive. During Black History Month, AARP shines a light on the strength, courage, and achievements of the countless Black leaders, volunteers, and neighbors who have strengthened their communities for generations.
