Become an E-Activist as Legislature Meets

Posted on 11/30/20 by The AARP Bulletin

When it comes to fighting for the concerns of older Idahoans, AARP members have a chance to make a difference by influencing state laws and policies as e-activists.

In the coming months, AARP Idaho will host several telephone town halls with legislators and Gov. Brad Little (R) and will encourage e-activists to phone in to the events and present their concerns directly.

When the Legislature convenes on Monday, Jan. 11, AARP Idaho will be counting on its virtual army to advocate for priorities such as ensuring that workers have options for retirement savings, increasing access to telehealth and broadband, and preventing cuts to programs and services that are vital to older residents.
