Louisianans head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 8, for the first round of elections for six U.S. House seats, a U.S. Senate seat and other offices.
The voter registration deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 18, for those doing so at GeauxVote.com, or Tuesday, Oct. 11, for those who register by mail or in person.
Under Louisiana law, candidates in all parties face off Nov. 8. If no one wins more than 50 percent of the vote, a runoff will be held Saturday, Dec. 10.
