AZ AARP Yavapai County Volunteers in Action at Stepping Stones Agency

The AARP Yavapai County Volunteers helped out the Stepping Stones agency, an organization in western Yavapai County that supports families affected by domestic violence. Providing assistance at the agency’s two thrift stores, the AARP volunteers helped sort and arrange clothes and household goods for the shops.

Jean, one of the AARP Prescott Volunteers, shared: “having enjoyed shopping at thrift stores for many years now, I didn’t realize all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. I was tasked with making sure all the game and puzzle pieces were all there, before they were put out onto the shelf.”

It was an honor (and fun!) to help this local non-profit organization in this way!
