AZ AARP Tele-Town Halls with U.S. Senate and House Candidates

Posted on 09/29/20

The coronavirus may have put large parts of our lives on hold, but there’s one event it won’t delay – the 2020 election. About 230 million Americans will be eligible to vote in what many say is the most important election in recent history.

Critical issues like your financial security, health care, prescription drug costs, and more are on the line this election. As voters prepare to cast their general election ballots, AARP is committed to helping older Americans exercise their right to vote safely while holding candidates accountable on their health and financial security in the time of COVID-19.

AARP launched its “Protect Voters 50+” effort in August to encourage all people to exercise their right to vote and to make sure you have the information you need to vote safely from home or at the polls.

Arizonans 50 and older are the most reliable group of voters. We need to continue to get involved and ask candidates questions on everything we care about – where they stand on Social Security, health care, proposals to support 50+ Arizonans and their families, and how they’ll work to bring down the high cost of prescription drugs.

AARP has a proud 34-year history of nonpartisan voter engagement.  During this election season, we are holding tele-town halls with candidates so AARP members know where each of the candidates’ stand on these key issues.

Please click the name of the candidate below in order to listen to their tele-town hall recording.
