MA Councils on Aging and Economic Security

Outreach Coordinators and other staff at Councils on Aging in Massachusetts frequently work with older adult clients to find economic security resources among the public benefits available, such as SNAP benefits for food, fuel assistance during the heating season, and health insurance savings. Many Councils on Aging operate Senior Centers that host AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program, SHINE counselors, and food distribution programs. April Fraud Talk Tuesday: Fraud in Your Mailbox
Tuesday, May 13 at Noon
Join us for an engaging conversation with USPS Inspector General Schrage as we discuss postal scams. There will be an opportunity for Q&A so you can get your questions answered live on the webinar. Danielle Schrage has been a postal inspector with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service for 18 years. During this time, she has worked a variety of assignments in both the Los Angeles and Boston Divisions. Currently, Inspector Schrage is assigned to the mail fraud team in Boston which covers the entire state of Massachusetts. Inspector Schrage is also one of the Boston Division’s Public Information Officers which enables her to use her experience working mail fraud cases to speak to members of the public about ways they can combat consumer fraud.
