Attend Free Scam Jams in September

AARP Idaho and the Idaho Scam Jam Alliance invite you to learn about the sophisticated tactics con-artists are using while getting the tools and resources you need to identify and report scams. Join us for these free in-person events in Meridian, Weiser, and Nampa this September.

Hear from the Idaho Dept. of Finance, Idaho Attorney General’s office, Better Business Bureau, Boise Police Dept., Federal Trade Commission and get the information you need to fight against fraud. Topics will include panel discussions on: trending scams, how scammers work and how to outsmart them, where and how to report, and what to do if you've already been a victim of scams. This is an interactive forum and your participation, questions and comments are encouraged.

These are free events and light refreshments will be provided. Registration is not required but seating is first come, first served.
