Are you curious about artificial intelligence (AI) but slightly intimidated by the technical jargon? This exciting new series from AARP Wyoming is designed specifically for you!

This six-part series will guide you into the wonderful and sometimes worrisome world of AI. No experience is required and all technical levels are welcome.

Our knowledgeable presenters will unpack the complexities of AI in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. They'll delve into its potential to improve our lives, from writing stories for the grandkids to revolutionizing trip planning.

Each session begins at 9 AM and lasts about an hour, with plenty of time for your questions.

Session One: AI Beginner's Workshop
The series begins on Tuesday, June 25th, with a beginner's workshop on DALL-E, ChatGPT, and Gemini, all free tools. Here, you'll learn how to use these tools to create images and write stories ñ imagine crafting personalized children's books with your grandchildren!

Session Two: Planning Your Dream Trip with AI
On August 13, we'll explore how AI assistants like ChatGPT can help you plan your next adventure. Learn how to research destinations, book arrangements, and create custom itineraries and all with the help of AI!

Session Three Echoes of Truth: Unraveling the Reality Behind Deepfakes in the News
Not all AI is sunshine and rainbows. We'll also address the challenges, like deepfakes (AI-generated videos that can spread misinformation). In September, you'll learn to identify deepfakes and protect yourself from online scams. The session will be held on Tuesday, September 3.

Session Four: Build Your Own Hyperreal Avatar
October brings a fascinating workshop on creating your own voice clones and hyperrealistic avatars. We'll discuss the ethical considerations of this technology while exploring its potential applications. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 1.

Session Five: Crafting Children's Tales with AI
In November, unleash your inner storyteller! On Tuesday, November 5, learn how to use ChatGPT and DALL-E to create engaging and imaginative stories for children. You'll explore generating text, designing illustrations, and combining them to produce your own children's books.

Session Six: The Healing Power of AI
The series concludes in December with a look at how AI is revolutionizing healthcare. Discover how AI is improving diagnoses, treatments, and patient care for seniors. The session will be held on Tuesday, December 3.
