Are You Eligible for Property Tax Relief?

New Jersey residents who own or rent property and meet certain income limits may be eligible for as much as $1,750 in tax relief as part of a state program. But the deadline to apply is fast approaching.
The Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR) program is based on 2021 residency, income and age. The deadline to apply is Friday, Dec. 6. For more information, residents can visit anchor.nj.gov or call the ANCHOR hotline at 609-826-4282 or 888-238-1233.
