CHEYENNE - AARP Wyoming’s virtual series, So You Think You Can’t Draw, will offer four sessions in February to help its participants learn how to draw basic shapes and how they are used in larger projects.

The series is free, and there is no need to be an AARP member or over age 50 to participate. To register for the event using your aarp.org account, simply click here. You will receive an email with the Zoom link before the session.

Dive into the world of drawing as you learn to shade three essential shapes: the sphere, the cube, and the cylinder and transform those shapes into an apple, a vase and a calla lily. You will unlock the secrets of different shading and blending techniques to create captivating three-dimensional effects. Here are the materials, weekly lessons and required supplies for the series.

The sessions include:

Feb. 7 - Introduction to Drawing and Shading Basic Shapes
Feb. 14 - Applications of the Sphere
Feb. 21 - Application of the Cube
Feb. 28 - Application of the Cylinder
