A recent AARP survey found aging in place is extremely important to 84% of Utahns 45 and older. Three in five of those surveyed say rising property taxes could impact their ability to remain in their home as they age.
Your power bill will soon be going up - but not as much as originally proposed thanks in large part to our AARP Utah members!
Did you know that Utah has a property tax relief program? It's called the Property Tax Deferral Program for Elderly Property Owners. The program allows Utahns 75 and older to defer their property taxes until the home is transferred to a new owner.
