AARP to Big Pharma: "Shame On You."

Posted on 03/04/20

"Today, Illinois residents were denied the chance to hold pharmaceutical companies accountable for the prices they force on people who need medication," said AARP Illinois State Director Bob Gallo.

"On behalf of our 1.7 million members, AARP Illinois says 'shame on you' to drug companies choosing greed over the health and affordability of medicine for Illinois residents.

And we pledge to keep fighting on behalf of these residents — older adults and their families — so they no longer have to make difficult choices about whether to pay for crucial medicine or other things they need to survive, like food, clothing and rent"
