AARP Supports Local Rides Near Cedar Rapids

AARP teamed up with Toyota to provide a vehicle to Aging Services in Cedar Rapids, IA. This vehicle will help in Aging Services’ COVID-19 vaccine outreach efforts, including the ability to deliver vaccine rides and vaccine information, or other essential rides.

Given the devastating impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Toyota and AARP are both committed to driving awareness, education, and access to COVID-19 vaccinations for vulnerable individuals in underserved communities. The work with Aging Services is an important part of that initiative, which includes 16 cars delivered to nine community organizations around the country.
