AARP Southeast Pennsylvania Hosts Volunteer Open House

Posted on 03/02/22

AARP Pennsylvania works hard to serve the 50+ community and their families – and on Monday, February 28th, we hosted dozens of volunteers for a new volunteer and member meet-and-greet.

Led by AARP Pennsylvania volunteers Alan Nadel and Valda Branison,  the hour-long session focused on how AARP members and supporters can get involved in volunteer positions based on their interests.

Nadel and Branison were joined by 50 AARP members and supporters who came to learn more about how they can get involved in AARP Pennsylvania programming, like Livable Communities, Military Veterans and Families, Fraud Watch, HubDialer, and others.

The half-hour presentation was followed by a Question-and-Answer session, where attendees asked questions about how they can be involved, both asking questions live and in the chat on Zoom.

If you missed the event, don’t fret. You can still fill out our volunteer application form, and list what sorts of volunteering you’re interested in.

Be a part of AARP Pennsylvania's mission by becoming a volunteer. Your skills and talents will be utilized in a variety of ways to support your community.
